The project, which started in January 2018 in Pujiang and finished in July 2018, faced several challenges. The design team had to hide all the storage functions and meet life demand while maintaining the simplicity of the space. The result is a space that conveys a mysterious and calm posture, as memorable as a classic black and white old movie.

The Black House has been recognized for its innovative design, winning the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2019. This award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, and the Black House certainly fits the bill.
